Walk, sit and raise your arms. Notice support, weight and how the fabric feels. Bring your wedding shoes or a pair with a similar heel height.
Compare the full scope
Ask whether alterations, fittings, a veil, accessories and cleaning are included. Compare rental and purchase offers with the same items included. Do not treat an unspecified charge as zero.
Agree the collection details
Confirm the final fitting, collection date and final checks in writing. Allow a realistic buffer, and inspect length, fastenings, lining and accessories when you collect it.
